Designations are an important part of choosing a real estate agent.
The classroom time to get a license does not prepare an agent for the day-to-day activities of successfully marketing your home. Professional real estate designations are endorsed by the National Association of Realtors and are held to strict guidelines to make sure each designation enhances a real estate agent’s ability to better represent you, the consumer.
RE/MAX agents hold, on average, more designations than agents with other companies. Below are the designations that I have earned and maintained:

CDPE—Certified Distressed Property Expert only held by LESS than 1% of Realtors nationwide |

E-PRO—Internet Empowered Consumer only held by 7% of Realtors nationwide |

ABR—Accredited Buyer Representative—only held by 13% of Realtors nationwide |

CRS—Certified Residential Specialist—only held by 11% of Realtors nationwide |
 |
GRI—Graduate Realtors Institute—only held by 20% of Realtors nationwide |

SRES—Senior Real Estate Specialist—only held by 5% of Realtors nationwide |
Only a very small percentage of Realtors nationwide have the time and commitment to earn all 6 of the above designations to serve their clients better.
